Headquartered in Sunnyvale CA, Integrated Photovoltaic (iPV) was spun out of Integrated Materials, Inc. in December 2007 to address the solar market.
Integrated Photovoltaics (IPV) has developed a new method for silicon wafer manufacturing. Although plasma spray technology (PST), proposed for wafer manufacturing, has been known for several decades, it has not been applied for silicon wafer manufacturing. Advanced materials and process control systems appeared recently has transformed PST into an efficient tool for solar cell production.
