I2BF is an international fund management group focused on venture capital and public equity activities in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific. Established in late 2005 I2BF has since grown to become a diversified clean energy investment fund with over $90 million in assets under management.
Our venture fund usually participates as an equity investor to the aggregate amount between $0.5 and $10 million, but we also try to treat every case individually, depending on the company’s dynamics and capital requirements. Our first $15 million “test fund” was closed in early 2007, and we are now actively pursuing projects from our second $55 million venture opportunity fund and our new $25 million hedge fund. Moreover, our team is in a good position to raise capital beyond the scope of existing funds from our current limited partners and from outside groups in the CIS and the United States for specialized projects (i.e. capital-intensive project financing) and follow-on investments into existing portfolio companies that demonstrate good performance.

Our hedge arm is the newest addition to I2BF’s range of fund management activities. We have integrated our team’s deep knowledge of technology, fundamentals and quantitative methods to hone a mixed-strategy public markets approach. This new product is designed to give our investors and limited partners wider access to a rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
